Terms and Conditions
1. Bookings
- All bookings are subject to availability and confirmation by Waheguru Travels.
- A booking is considered confirmed once the required deposit or full payment is received.
- Prices mentioned in the brochures or websites are indicative and subject to change based on availability, currency fluctuations, and changes in service costs.
2. Payment Terms
- A non-refundable deposit of 25% is required at the time of booking.
- The balance payment must be made 30 days prior to the start of the tour. Failure to make the payment may result in the cancellation of the booking.
- Payments can be made via bank transfer, credit card, or through our online payment portal.
3. Cancellation Policy
- Cancellations must be made in writing via email to Waheguru Travels.
- Cancellation charges apply as follows:
- 45 days or more prior to departure: 20% of the tour price.
- 30-44 days prior to departure: 50% of the tour price.
- Less than 30 days: 100% of the tour price.
- No refunds will be issued for unused services or if cancellations are made during the tour.
4. Travel Insurance
- All travelers are strongly advised to have comprehensive travel insurance that covers trip cancellations, medical emergencies, baggage loss, and other unforeseen events.
- Waheguru Travels is not liable for any losses, damages, or claims arising out of personal injuries or accidents.
5. Changes in Itinerary
- Waheguru Travels reserves the right to modify the tour itinerary for operational reasons, weather conditions, or unforeseen events. In such cases, comparable services or accommodations will be provided.
- No refunds or credits will be provided for changes made due to force majeure or other circumstances beyond the company’s control.
6. Liability
- Waheguru Travels acts as a tour operator and intermediary between the client and service providers (hotels, transport companies, etc.).
- We are not liable for any loss, injury, or damage to persons or property due to service provider actions or unforeseen circumstances such as natural disasters, strikes, or governmental actions.
- Travelers are responsible for their own safety and personal belongings.
7. Passports and Visas
- It is the responsibility of the traveler to ensure that their passport is valid for at least six months beyond the date of entry into India and to obtain any required visas.
- Waheguru Travels is not responsible for any losses due to incorrect or missing travel documents.
8. Health and Safety
- Travelers are required to disclose any pre-existing medical conditions and must travel with any required medication.
- Waheguru Travels recommends that travelers consult a doctor regarding vaccinations or health precautions before traveling.
9. Behavior
- Waheguru Travels reserves the right to refuse service or terminate a booking if a traveler’s behavior is disruptive, unsafe, or causes harm to others.
- Any misbehavior with local vendors, guides, or hotel staff will not be tolerated and may result in immediate termination of the tour without a refund.
10. Force Majeure
- Waheguru Travels is not liable for any failure to perform due to causes beyond its control, including but not limited to acts of God, government restrictions, wars, labor strikes, natural disasters, pandemics, or civil disturbances.
11. Governing Law
- These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of India, and any disputes arising from the services provided by Waheguru Travels will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts in Gurgaon, India.
